Silas John

I am a Nuclear Engineering PhD student at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. I joined the
Wirth Research Group in Fall 2023. I am interested in atomistic modeling of materials in
extreme environments. My project involves the use of atomistic modeling to investigate helium
embrittlement mechanisms in creep and fatigue in ferritic alloys for fusion structural applications.
