Michael Davis Ashburn

I am a current Nuclear Engineering Master’s student at the University of Tennessee. I initially joined the Wirth Research Group as an undergraduate researcher in Fall of 2022 and officially joined as a graduate student in Fall 2023. As a master’s student I have decided to continue my undergraduate research in Flux Dependence on Helium Retention in Pure Tungsten and pick up a secondary project of Cascade Overlap Implementation in 800H Alloy Models. Both of these projects involve the use and improvement of the cluster dynamics program Xolotl.
