Peter King

I am a Ph.D. student studying nuclear engineering at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. I joined the research group Fall of 2025 and am currently assisting Professor Blondel with coupling her code, Xolotl, to Idaho National Lab’s MOOSE simulation. My research interests include material degradation of plasma facing materials through implantation, sputtering, and irradiation. I previously graduated from Penn State University with a B.S. in mechanical engineering.
